I've read a few reviews complaining about a weird smell. Since all senses are subjective, I will not and should not say anything about that.
I can only speak for myself. To me, it smells like the fresh aroma found in some toothpaste, or chewing gum. I would like to refute some reviewers' complaint about very difficult to open the bottle.
It didn't happen to me. I read and followed the instructions, both text and diagram, printed on the bottle; squeezed the two thumb marks molded on the cap and then turned it counter-clockwise, VOILA, the nozzle was open.
Those reviewers could have saved themselves some needless frustrations, had they simple read and followed the instructions.

Thanks Lysol. I used this product to clean my bathrooms toilet, and shower doors , it worked wonders on my bathrooms. The vacant apartment toilet hadn't been used or cleaned in quite a while so it had a dark scale below the waterline that no amount of scrubbing with another toilet cleanser made much of a dent in.
Five minutes or less after I used the product the discoloration was completely gone, with little scrubbing needed! One person found this helpful.
Left on the inside of bowl overnight for a persistent gray water ring around the water line with "drips" from the inside rim. Used a stiff toilet bowl brush the next morning. Seems to have worked for me and I got the stick gels to keep the water cleaner, 2 weeks so far good to go.
